Food Waste Management

Bio degradable waste is any waste that can be decomposed by the natural processes and converted into the elemental form. Example: kitchen waste, food waste, garden waste, animal dump, oil and grease, tissue paper, etc.

The land filling of waste, especially bio-degradable waste can pollute the environment and produce green house gasses (GHG) which contribute to climate change. Bio-degradable waste management is to prevent or reduce as far as possible, any damage to the environment caused by land filling such as pollution of surface water, ground water, soil, air and the production of green house gasses that contribute to climate change.
